The Rhymney House Hotel was built c1801 as the residence of the manager of the Rhymney Iron Company. Set in approx 2 acres of grounds [terraced lawn, 5 very mature trees [30ft] and car park]. It is close to the A465 Heads of the Valleys road, which runs between Abergavenny (30 mins) and Swansea (1 hour). This gives good road access to the midlands. It is also close to the A470, which gives access to Cardiff (40 mins) and the M4. The premises are currently trading as a hotel but would make a beautiful home for a large family; it could be converted into flats or similar.
